Kenneth Howard Rowell, 89, of Union, passed away on November 6, 2016 at Hilltop Manor Nursing Home.
He was born on September 18, 1927 to Horace and Leslie (McDaniels) Rowell in Jasper County, MS.
Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Connie (Kenneth) Mosley and Annette (Alvin) Ward; son, Johnny (Cherri) Rowell; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by wife, Lucille Rowell; son, Lester Rowell; 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, parents, Horace Rivers Rowell and Leslie Kate Rowell; brothers, Jessie Rowell, Herman Rowell, Alton Rowell, Raymond Rowell, and Albert Rowell; and sisters, Edna Perry and Dot Peel.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2016, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, 11:00 am at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jason Castle officiating. Burial will take place in the McGowan's Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kendall Mosley, Bradley Tew, Alvin Word, Randy McInnis, Terry Collins, and Bruce Hill.
