Lois McCollum Jenkins Lee, 100, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on September 7, 2020, at H. C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
She was born on September 5, 1920, to Marvin and Betty (Taylor) McCollum in Meridian, MS.
Lois is survived by her two sons, David (Cheryl) Jenkins and James (Sara) Jenkins; two daughters, Evelyn Whitten and Marie Jenkins Holloman; nine grandchildren, Angel Davis, Sandy Latham, Steve Jenkins, Keith Jenkins, Carmen Jenkins, Chris Jenkins, Michael (Mike) Jenkins, Tony Jenkins, and Ryan Holloman; and great-grandchildren, Brianna Holloman, Lola Jenkins, Kiley Jenkins, Logan Jenkins, Jordan Jenkins, Trevor Latham, Tyler Latham, Dana Davis, Jessie Jenkins, Jamie Jenkins, Madelyn Jenkins, Jeffery Jenkins, Cheryl Jenkins, Mason Jenkins, Zachary Jenkins, Jacob Jenkins and Christopher Scott Jenkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Betty McCollum; first husband, Delmar Jenkins; second husband, William (Bill) Lee; son, Charles (Bud) Jenkins; five brothers, Otis McCollum, Marvin McCollum, Harold McCollum, Luther (Bud) McCollum, and Eugene McCollum; half-brother, Ed McCollum; sister, Mary Levar Smith; and half-sister, Grace Compton.
Graveside services were held on Friday, September 11, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at the Elim Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tony Volking officiating.
Burial took place in the Elim Baptist Church Cemetery.
