Norman Bryan Trayal, 91, of Meridian, Mississippi, passed away on October 1, 2023, at Attalla Baptist Hospital in Kosciusko, MS.
He was born on August 20, 1932, to Cashious and Willie (Smith) Trayal in Meridian, MS.
Norman was a longtime member of Bucatunna Baptist Church. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rites Lodge. He enjoyed gardening and sitting on his front porch spending time with his friends and family.
Norman is survived by his sons, Ken B. Trayal, and Keith (Penny) Trayal; four grandchildren, Kimberly (Jason) Smith, Kasey (Houston) Moore, Chelsey (Nick) Adams, and Chase (Jan) Trayal; nine great-grandchildren, Carson Smith, Case Smith, Collins Smith, Crew Smith, Callaway Smith, Stella Moore, Sofie Moore, Ramona Adams, and Lucas Adams; and sister, Shirley (Leon) Ross.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cashious Trayal; mother, Willie Trayal; wife, Billie Davidson Trayal; brother, Charles Trayal; and sister, Mary Sahut.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 9, 2023, after 10:00 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leon Ross officiating.
Burial will take place in the Ford Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Carson Smith, Jason Smith, Houston Moore, Chase Trayal, Scott Ross and David Porter.
