Rhoda Simmons Prisock, of Quitman, passed away on September 6, 2016, at H. C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Prisock was born on November 29, 1932 in Progress, MS. She was the daughter of Ralph and Cora Simmons.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Prisock Cooper, of McComb; grandchildren, Christopher Cooper of Brookhaven; Timothy Cooper (Jamie) of Summit; Terry Cooper, Jr. (Jacquelyn) of Magnolia; her sister, Annette Hutto of Quitman, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son-in-law, Terry Cooper, Sr., her brother, Lee Simmons and wife, Juanita; and her brother-in-law, Craig Hutto.
Funeral services were held Saturday, September 10, 2016, at Jones Family Funeral Home in McComb with Rev. Todd Foster officiating. Burial took place at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Progress, MS.
Pallbearers were Christopher Cooper, Timothy Cooper, Dylan Cooper, Wayne Kennedy, and Robert Williams.
