Richard Larry Roberson, 66, passed away on August 5, 2016.
He was born on December 15, 1949 to Edmond and Ola (Powell) Roberson.
Larry is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sue (Godwin) Roberson; children Kim (Keith) Miller, Michael (Tonya) Roberson, and Chad (Stacy) Roberson; grandchildren Brooke (David) Harris, April Miller, Paige Roberson, Marley Roberson, and Jacob (Samantha) Thomas; great grandchildren Ryan, Aubrey, and Alex Harris; brothers Jerry (Linda) Roberson and Terry (Bonnie) Roberson; sisters Nell (Hal) Harbour and Tommy (David) Campbell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by father Edmond Roberson and mother Ola Olivia (Powell) Roberson.
Larry was a faithful servant of God and a quiet leader among men. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Water Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend Leslie Roberts and Reverend Donald Campbell officiating. The body will be taken to the church at 1:00 p.m. Sunday for visitation. Burial will take place at Bucatunna Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Gibbs, Jerry Powell, R L Powell, C. C. Roberson, Jimmy Roberson, and Byron Stallings.
