Robert Franklin Longwitz, 71, of Quitman, passed away on January 4, 2017 at Jeff Anderson Hospital.
He was born on February 13, 1945 to Richard and Hazel (Pippen) Longwitz in Norfolk, VA.
Robert is survived by his wife, Rose Longwitz; sons, Will (Leigh Ann) Longwitz and Wes (Ashley) Longwitz; grandchildren, Sophie Longwitz, June Longwitz, John Wesley Longwitz, and Samuel Longwitz and special friends, Skidmore's Coffee Club.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at First United Methodist Church, Quitman, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017, 3:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mark Covington and Rev. Hiram Coker officiating. Burial will take place in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Adam Roberts, Ross Roberts, Davis Roberts, Pedro Scurlock, Tommy Littlepage, Gerald (T-Boy) Aebert, Don Traxler, and Eddie Fulton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Moss and Jimmie Martin.
