Sarah Virginia McMillan Perritt, 83, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on September 25, 2020, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.
She was born on October 26, 1936, to Douglas and Ruth (Smith) McMillan in Clarke County, MS.
Sarah was a member of the Meridian Church of God and later in life a member of the Pleasant Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church where she loved to sing and serve faithfully in many capacities. She was also in the first group of ten dialysis patients at the University of Mississippi Medical Center
Sarah is survived by two daughters, Alesia Graham and Diane Harbour Avant; brother, Allen McMillan; three sisters, Patsy Hunter, Joann Carpenter, and Ruth Smith; granddaughter, Leah Clarke Buzzelli; grandson, Matthew Bowen; and a great-grandchild, Braden Clarke Buzzelli.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Ruth McMillan; two brothers, Jimbo McMillan and Charlie McMillan; two sisters, Beatrice Campbell and Betty Lou Stallings.
Visitation was held Monday, September 28, 2020, 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held on Monday, September 28, 2020, 3:00 p.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Chance Walley officiating.
Burial took place in the McGowan's Chapel Cemetery.
