Shelia Ann White, 68, passed away Friday, September 30, 2016 peacefully at her home in Pachuta, MS after her long battle with cancer.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie Melissa Kate O’Connor, and her grandson, Paul Curtis Quick.
Mrs. White is survived by her husband of 34 years, Darcy White, Jr. her son Charles Satcher, her daughter Eugina Ellison, her step-son Darcy White, III, her step-daughter Sarah White. 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Shelia was born at Matty Hersee Hospital in Meridian, MS on February 4, 1948. She became a Registered Nurse in 1980, and moved to Mountain Home, AR. She married Darcy White in February 1982. In 1985, they moved back to Mississippi where Shelia became a nurse for many years at Anderson Hospital and H.C. Watkins Hospital. She was a beloved resident in the community throughout her life. She became a member of the church of Christ in 1986 and remained a faithful member until her death.
The memorial service for Shelia White will be held Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Quitman church of Christ at 1:30 P.M.
