Thomas Clifton LaBoone Jr., 53, of Pelham, passed away on February 11, 2017 at Shelby Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. He was born on November 25, 1963 to Cliff and Faye (Waltman) LaBoone in Nashville, TN.
Thomas was born in Nashville, TN and grew up in Quitman, MS. He was a graduate of Quitman High School and Millsaps College and a member of the Kappa Alpha Order. He was a Member of Riverchase United Methodist Church, a published author and a well know sommelier whose career was in sales and marketing.
Thomas is survived by, Wife, Lori LaBoone, 2 Daughters, Elaina Kate LaBoone, and Kristina Camille LaBoone, of Pelham, AL Parents, Cliff and Faye LaBoone, of Quitman, MS, Brother, Randy (Kim) LaBoone, 2 Nieces, Laura LaBoone, and Allison LaBoone of Franklin, TN. He leaves a wonderful extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers are Jack Burton, Mason Fannon, Warren L. Jones, Jr., Walt Waltman, Stevie Hamrick, and Lee Jones.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Finnis Waltman, and, Mr. & Mrs. J. W. LaBoone.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 13, 2017, 12:30 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017, 3:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Ron Stanley, Rev. Hiram Coker, officiating. Burial will take place in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
