At the regularly scheduled Clarke County Board of Supervisors meeting on Monday, June 1, the supervisors honored the retirement of two dedicated employees by presenting them with a Proclamation of Appreciation. The two employees honored were James Walter Robinson and Percy Gray, Jr.
The proclamation for James Walter Robinson was as follows:
WHEREAS, James Walter Robinson has dedicated four years and seven months of exemplary service to the Clarke County Road Department, demonstrating outstanding commitment and work ethic; and
WHEREAS, his dependability, technical skills, and willingness to assist his colleagues have made him a highly valued member of the Clarke County Road Department team; and
WHEREAS, the impact of his hard work will continue to benefit the residents and travelers of this community for years to come;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that we extend our deepest gratitude to James Walter Robinson for his four years and seven months of loyal service, and we honor his contributions to the Clarke County Road Department.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we wish James Walter Robinson continued success, happiness, and fulfillment in all of his future endeavors.
The proclamation for Percy Gray, Jr. was as follows:
WHEREAS, Percy Gray, Jr. has dedicated 10 years and five months of exemplary service to the Clarke County Road Department, demonstrating outstanding commitment and work ethic; and
WHEREAS, through his daily efforts, Percy Gray, Jr. has directly contributed to the safety, maintenance, and improvement of our County; and
WHEREAS, his dependability, technical skills, and willingness to assist his colleagues have made him a highly valued member of the Clarke County Road Department team; and
WHEREAS, the impact of his hard work will continue to benefit the residents and travelers of this community for years to come;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that we extend our deepest gratitude to Percy Gray, Jr. for his 10 years and five months of loyal service, and we honor his contributions to the Clarke County Road Department.
