Mrs. Fisher, the SWAT (gifted) teacher at QUE, represented Quitman School District well at the MAGC (MS Association of Gifted Children) State Gifted Conference.
She was proud to present about a variety of different research projects that gifted students have conducted over the years and how they presented them formally either to their gifted classmates, parents, and other general education peers. These research projects focused on preparing students for making future decisions about pets, living locations, travel destinations, learning about other cultures, having an impact on their community, and making business decisions for a company.
The gifted program at QSD is focused on providing students with opportunities to build their critical thinking and civic duty while also having some fun along the way.
