The holiday season is right around the corner, and Downtown Quitman will be filled with Christmas cheer on Saturday, Dec. 5, with the annual Quitman Christmas Parade beginning at 10 a.m.
Immediately following the parade, the Clarke County Chamber of Commerce invites the community to continue the festivities with Christmas on Main, scheduled from 10:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Visitors can get a head start on holiday shopping while browsing a variety of local vendors, enjoy entertainment featuring high school students and other groups, and grab a bite to eat from food trucks.
