On Thursday, December 11, Quitman High School was proud to have four seniors sign to continue their football career at the collegiate level.
Head Coach Joshua Pulphus explained just how important the opportunity was for the boys.
“It’s a moment of celebration for our four young men graduating early and going to prepare to continue to play and pursue their college careers,” announced Pulphus. “I can’t stress enough the importance of early signing days. It not only puts our players on the competitive market, but it also gives them an opportunity to go out and get themselves prepared physically, mentally, and academically in reference to competing for the fall of the upcoming year. Thank you, Quitman School District for helping us push early enrollment.”
Quitman Superintendent Dr. Minnie Dace is proud of each of the boys and their accomplishments.
“On behalf of Quitman School District and our board of trustees, we really appreciate the parents, most of all for supporting us and trusting us with your babies,” declared Dace. “To the guys, we want to say thank you for your hard work and your dedication. You have four more months to make this thing happen, and we can’t wait to see you do more great things at whatever school you decide to go to.”
