After the loss against the Enterprise Bulldogs, the Panthers began the journey to one of the last away games of the season - the journey to Northeast Jones to face the Tigers.
The first quarter of the game began with the Panthers receiving the ball. The kick landed the ball on the Panther 47 yard line. Quitman fumbled the ball on the 50, allowing the Tigers to gain control of the ball. The Tigers pushed to the Panther 25 before punting the ball to the endzone for a 3-point field goal. The Tigers lined up to punt the ball into the arms of Jias Davis who carried the ball to the Tiger 47. The Panthers pushed the ball to the 9 yard line. Davis passed the ball to Jaliel Cameron at the endzone for a touchdown with a good PAT from Davis. The score was Panthers 7 - Tigers 3. The Panthers kicked to the 37 yard line. The Tigers pushed to the Panther’s end zone with a successful two-point conversion. The score was Panthers 7 - Tigers 11.
At the beginning of the second quarter, the Tigers kicked to the Panther 35. The Panthers pushed the ball to the 47 yard line. Akylin Dear carried the ball to the Tiger 9 yard line. The Panthers’ offensive line made three attempts for a touchdown at the endzone but failed before the end of the second quarter of the game with no advancement from either side of the teams.
The third quarter of the game ended with no advancements in score from either side, but the 4th quarter started with the Tigers kicking the ball to the Panther 35 yard line. The Panthers fumbled the ball, and it was recovered by the Tigers. The Tigers scored a touchdown with a successful PAT. The score was Panthers 7 - Tigers 18. The final touchdown of the game was scored by the Panthers as Jias Davis passed the ball to #20 Freshman Wide Receiver Shunzarius Dear from the Tiger’s 45 yard line. The PAT was no good. The final score of the game was Panthers 13 - Tigers 18.
