The Quitman Police Department took Aaron Blake Brasseal into custody after an incident that occurred at Archusa Creek Water Park on Sunday, January 25.
“It was a domestic violence incident between a husband and wife to where he chose violence as his answer,” explained Quitman Assistant Chief Edwin Laws. “They’re both fortunate that it didn’t get any worse.”
Officers apprehended Brasseal near East Franklin Street and North Archusa Avenue.
He has been charged with kidnapping, aggravated domestic assault, drive by shooting, shooting in an occupied vehicle, and burglary – home invasion.
At this time, the incident is still under investigation.
