There will be a Lake Run 250 at Clarkco State Park, located at 386 Clarkco Road in Quitman, on June 13. All proceeds from the race will benefit the Friends of Clarkco State Park to help build a camping-area fire pit and swings and to support the America’s 250th Celebration.
Although registration will be available beginning at 7:00 the morning of the 5K, participants are only guaranteed a t-shirt if they register by May 31. People may register online at time2run.net or pick up a form at Clarkco. Participants will pick up their packet beginning at 7:00 a.m. June 13.
The 5K Run Awards will consist of Overall, Masters & Grandmasters, and first, second, and third place awards for males and females in the following age groups: 6-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
The 5K Walk Awards will consist of the Top 3 Overrall male and female and Top 3 in each of the following age groups: 6-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
There will be ribbons given to all participants of the Fun Run.
