In Luke 15 we find three stories about being lost and found: a lost sheep, a lost coin, and a lost son. I’ve often thought about the way the three stories fit together. The first two are about lost things. One is lost in the wilderness. The other is lost in the house. The third is also about “lost-ness”, but a different kind of lostness.
