Services for Robert Donnie Boles will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, 12:00 p.m. at Harmony Baptist Church of Quitman with Bro. Terry Irby and Bro. Ed Shoemaker officiating. Interment will follow at Goodwater Cemetery in Vossburg. Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes is honored to be in charge of arrangements.
Robert Donnie Boles was born to Robert and Mattie Boles on July 23, 1949, at Mattie Hersey Hospital in Meridian, MS. Robert passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026, in Meridian MS.
Robert was a loving father who worked hard to make sure his family was taken care of. He made sure his children had everything they wanted or needed. He had a varied career working in the cotton mill, enlisting in the Army National Guard, and working offshore.
Robert loved deer and turkey hunting and went every chance he could get. He loved being in the woods and taking scenic trips down tiny back roads. He was a man that needed to stay busy at all times and rarely met a stranger. He was always willing to help anyone and never missed a chance to tell a joke or story.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. and Mattie Arlene Boles; his first wife, Cathy Dillard Boles; his second wife, Cynthia A. Boles; his son, Robert Donald Boles II; and his sister, Connie Gail Dearman.
Robert is survived by his son, Ryan Boles (Toye); his brother, Marcus Boles (Linda); his grandchildren, Emma Boles, Trey Boles (Marcus), Jackson Boles (Caitlin), Ethan Knight, Jayla Knight, and Makenley Harris; and his daughter-in-law, Tina M. Boles, along with his two great-grandchildren, Sienna Boles and Dani Cait Boles.
A visitation will be held Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-North from 6:00-8:00 p.m. as well as an hour prior to service at the church on Friday.
