I am married to my loving husband, Otis Bumpers Junior. Together we have five beautiful children.
I am the Apostle Pastor of Anointed Word Church in Quitman Mississippi, where I have served this community for the last 30 years.
During that time I have graduated from New Foundations Theological Seminary with a bachelor, and doctorate degree, and licensed in crisis counseling. I hold a degree in Cosmetology and many other certifications. I am a member of the Executive Board of MultiCounty Meridian, Mississippi, and a Board Member of East Mississippi Regional Library System headquartered in Quitman, Mississippi. In the past I served on the Wesley House Board of Directors.
I have counseled and helped many in this community with biblically based council. I have also counseled many men and women in the Clarke County jail and trained many to pursue this mission in helping others. I have worked with youths, adult, and senior citizens in our community.
Testimony: As myself and my husband were walking in the mall in Meridian, a young man stopped me and asked me if I was Pastor Rosie Bumpers. I said yes, and he was so excited to give me the great news that he was out of jail and doing great. He was accompanied by his boss.
The young man was so grateful for me coming into the Quitman jail.
I believe with compassion, great personality, and a heart to help all people by being involved in the community will bring the best out of us all. My mission (goal) is to reach the citizens of Clarke County with Justice and with maintenance of what is just and right by the laws of Mississippi. I will hold the administration of law with great standing by the laws, education, and the community concerns.
With serving and the care of this community together, we will continue to make this city and county a place of home. This is what I am devoted to.
Elect, Rosie L. Bumpers as Justice Court Judge Place 1.
