A celebration of life service will be held for Roy Roberts of Bell, FL, on April 19, 2025, in the cemetery of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Melvin, AL, at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Jesse Griffith officiating.
Roy attended Johnson Elementary school in Ellisville, MS and Carmichael School and Quitman School in Quitman, MS. After school, Roy enlisted in the U.S. Airforce and served twenty-four years traveling the world. He retired and moved to Cocoa, FL, where he worked at NASA until his second retirement.
Roy passed from this life on November 23, 2024, and is survived by his loving wife, Marlene Kinsey Roberts; two sons, Bryan K (Carlese) and Chad M. Roberts; three stepsons, Sherman, Ronnie and Billy Nobles; twin brother Troy (Elizabeth); brother, Mark (Cathy); sisters, Barbara Kemp and Betty (Lamar) Long; and thirteen grandchildren.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Tommie and Ethel Roberts; brother-in-law, Billy Kemp; and step grandson Billy Nobles, Jr.
