Ruby Jean Ivy, 86, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on February 8, 2026, in Meridian, MS.
She was born on May 29, 1939, to Benjamin Frank and Annie Florence (West) McNeal in Desoto, MS.
Ruby Jean is survived by her son, Eddie Ivy; brother, Durwood (Linda) McNeal; nieces, Emily Toney, Carla Bardwell, and Cae Larsen; nephew, Lance (Dena) McNeal; brother-in-law, Robert Tuggle; great-nephews, Jaken Toney and Axel Gandy; great niece, Josie Kayte Toney; and numerous extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Annie Florence McNeal, and husband, Benjamin "Ben" Ivy.
Visitation was held Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Stokes and Rev. Davey Wilkinson officiating.
Burial took place in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
