Ruth Jordan Clark, 81, of Waynesboro, Mississippi, passed away on July 7, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on September 4, 1943, to George and Faith (Van Ness) Campbell in Quitman, MS.
Ruth was a member of Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church of Quitman, MS, and Clara Church of God in Clara, MS.
Ruth is survived by her two sons, John (Amanda) Jordan and Craig Clark; three daughters, Rita Walters, Patricia (Ron) Adams, Vicki (John) Jordan; eight grandchildren, Laura (Gavin) Lee, Andrew Jordan, Jessica Middleton, Haley (Kegan) Kelley, Kody Walters, Allison (Blake) Rhymer, Derek (Jennifer) Ivy, and Ariel (Trenton Penner) Adams; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Washington Campbell; mother, Faith Louise Campbell; first husband, Ottis Jordan; second husband, Edd Clark; three brothers, David Campbell, John Campbell, and Alton Campbell; and a sister, Susie Simmons.
Visitation was held Saturday, July 12, 2025, 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Cooper officiating.
Burial took place in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Derek Ivy, Kody Walters, Bubba Stokley, Lane Stokley, Joel Shelby, and Martin West. The honorary pallbearer was Leroy Cochran.
