If you have never registered to vote, go to the Circuit Clerk’s office at the Clarke County Courthouse and register in September. You must be 18 years old on or before November 8 and must register 30 days prior to an election. It is a privilege to vote.
If your name and/or address has changed since you last voted, or if you were told in the last voting event that you were at the wrong precinct, or voted an affidavit ballot because your name was not in the poll book, please correct it with the Circuit Clerk’s office or call 601-776-3111. You must vote in the right precinct for your vote to count.
Voting matters. One man, one vote.
If you have questions or doubts, please call the Circuit Clerk’s office at 601-776-3111 for clarification and instructions. The Circuit Clerk’s office is open Monday-Friday 8-5.
