The City of Shubuta is hosting its first annual Shubuta-Thon Marathon to promote physical fitness and wellness. There will be a two-mile walk, marathon run and bicycle race with two age groups, youth 14 and under, and 15 and over.
The marathon will be held Saturday, May 29 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Shubuta Walking Track, 535 East, Shubuta, MS. There is a $5 entry fee for youth and $10 for adults. All proceeds will be donated to our park and recreation for our kids in our community. There will be a limit of 10 vendors (fee of $40).
Come out and join us for day of fun with family! Put on your Nike’s and sweats and let’s race for our community. Bring your tents, chairs and coolers and let’s have fun at the Shubuta-thon!
