Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Smith of Enterprise, MS, would like to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Madison M. Smith to Bret J. Reinhart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Reinhart of Diamondhead, MS.
Miss Smith of Baton Rouge, LA, formerly of Enterprise, MS, is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and Merle Chisolm of Enterprise, the late Mr. Tommy Smith, Sr., of Pace, FL, and Enterprise, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roland and Grace Lada of Sarasota, FL.
The bride-elect graduated from Enterprise High School as Valedictorian and Star Student, and she was also named a National Merit Scholar. She went on to graduate from MSU with a bachelor's degree in microbiology, and while there, she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority and earned the honor of being named a Stephen D. Lee Scholar. Madison will graduate from UMMC in May as a Doctor of Physical Therapy and has accepted a job with Ochsner as a pelvic floor PT in Baton Rouge, LA.
Mr. Reinhart of Baton Rouge, LA, formerly of Diamondhead, is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Larry Deslatte, Sr., of Franklin, LA, the late Mr. Ernest Reinhart of Bryant, IN, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Meier of Celina, OH.
The bride-groom elect graduated as Valedictorian of St. Stanislaus College in Bay St. Louis, MS, and earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at Mississippi State University. While at MSU, he was a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He currently works as a Mechanical Engineer for ExxonMobil in Baton Rouge, LA.
The wedding will be held at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, MS, on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at 2:30 p.m., with reception to follow at the Bay St. Louis Community Hall.
