Begin the Super Bowl weekend celebrations early on Friday, February 6th, at the Clarke County Chamber of Commerce’s annual “Souper Bowl Friday Lunch.” They will be serving a variety of soups: vegetable beef soup, gumbo, and chili.
Along with the generous servings of soup, gumbo or chili, diners can enjoy a sandwich along with a dessert and iced tea.
Chamber members invite friends and neighbors to dine with them from 10:30 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. at First Methodist Church, 203 East Franklin Street, in Quitman. This year marks the 23rd year for the event, designed to combine good food and fellowship while providing funding for the Chamber’s operating expenses.
Tickets are available from Chamber of Commerce members, at the Chamber office, or at the door for a donation of $8.00.
For more information, call the Clarke County Chamber of Commerce office at 601-776-5701.
