Friday night saw the Bulldogs return to L.J. Davis field for the first time since November of last season. Coming off of a 31-0 route of the Lake Hornets last week. Enterprise looks to keep it rolling as they hosted the Perry Central Bulldogs.
Enterprise was faced with an early first drive punt, but with some trickery Senior Parks Burt rushed for the first off of the trick play. Senior Trace Roy capped off the opening drive with a rushing touchdown on first and goal and then kicked a good PAT. The Bulldogs were faced with yet another fourth down, but Junior Zee Sims made quick work of the short yardage to set up a fresh set of downs. Junior Harris Burt built off of Zee Sims’ first down with a massive run of his own to set Enterprise inside the red zone. Parks Burt capped off the long drive with a touchdown of his own and a good PAT from Trace Roy. The Bulldogs held a commanding 14-0 lead at the end of the first and a defense that didn’t give up a single first down.
To start off the second quarter, Senior Cooper Galyean tossed one deep to Zee Sims who juked his way to the five yard line. Harris Burt plowed through the Perry Central defensive line for a touchdown and perfect PAT. With yet another Perry Central three and out, the Bulldogs managed a massive field long play but was called back due to holding. Zee Sims responded to this flag with a 60 yard touchdown and a good PAT, to continue the Bulldog domination. Perry Central threw one deep downfield to try and get some offense rolling but is picked off by Junior Ridge Jackson. This interception set up a field long drive, finishing with a Trace Roy touchdown and good PAT. Enterprise went into the half with an explosive 35-0 lead with zero signs of slowing down.
Perry Central came out of the half on fire as they took the opening kick off to their own 49 yard line. Perry Central continued to drive down the field where they find themselves with a first and goal situation. Junior Jayce Gunn came in at the last minute as he picked off Perry Central in the endzone to keep the shutout alive. Zee Sims was set up by the Bulldog offense for a rushing touchdown from the Perry Central 43. Before the 3rd quarter ended, Enterprise forced and recoverd a Perry Central fumble to start the 4th quarter up by 42.
With Perry Central fishing hard for every yard against the second string defense, they finally managed to get one in for six yet missed the PAT. The Bulldogs ended the game to secure the dominant 42-6 victory.
Enterprise continues to blow expectations out of the water with back to back 30+ point victories. The Enterprise Bulldogs (2-0) host the Mize Bulldogs (2-0) at home this Friday at 7:30 for what should be an exciting matchup.

My Predictions (1-0)
Pryce Bell- EHS Sports Correspondent
Mize has won two straight and has recently come off of a 27-6 win over Mount Olive. Despite Mize having a strong start, the hometown Bulldogs should win 35-3.

34-28. Enterprise. They are two traditional good teams. It should be a good , hard fought game. I think Enterprise will win because we have home field advantage.
Lindsey McKelvain- EHS Senior
Enterprise 56 - Mize 7. Mize is a good team but worse than Perry Central
Nathan Baker- EYFL Midgets Coach
I don’t think Mize will be able to stop the run and the defense will dominate. 28-0 shutout.
