This Saturday, May 18, come out to Archusa Creek Water Park and enjoy an assortment of entertainment and activities while donating to a great cause. All of the proceeds collected at STAC will be donated to the Anderson Cancer Center Benevolence Fund to be used to assist citizens in Clarke County who are battling cancer.
A Survivor Reception will take place from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., and all cancer survivors are welcome to participate.
The event itself will officially begin at 11:00 a.m. with the opening ceremony, consisting of a welcome by Verlynn Robinson and VFW Post 4982 presenting the flag. Pastor Tony Chancelor with 3S Cowboy Church in Enterprise will open in prayer before 2025 Clarke County Distinguished Young Woman Paisley Ivey sings the National Anthem.
After that, Regina Davis will introduce the Representative from Anderson Cancer Center Benevolence Fund, and Troy Dew will introduce all the survivors. The survivors will then form a circle and have pictures taken with a drone.
Once all of the opening ceremony activities have been completed, there is a variety of entertainment lined up for those in attendance to enjoy.
The Quitman High School Chorus and Show Choir will provide entertainment before Daisy McKenzie delivers a survivor testimony.

There will be plenty of events for kids and families to enjoy while listening to the entertainment. Children are able to enjoy bounce houses, pony rides, and face painting.
From 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., there will also be a great Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Show for all to enjoy. There is a $20 registration fee for all vehicles which wish to enter, and door prizes will be drawn. All proceeds gathered from the car show will go to the Anderson Cancer Center Benevolence Fund.
