Stacy Johnson Taylor, 42, of Enterprise, Mississippi, passed away on April 5, 2026, in Jackson, MS.
She was born on May 6, 1983, to Jeff and Sharon (Carney) Johnson in Meridian, MS.
Stacy was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Stacy had a passion for various non-profit organizations where she served in many capacities. She had a special love for adoption community, especially Holt International Adoption Agency. Stacy was loved by her family, friends, and all of her community. Stacy had a love for animals, and she was very fond of her three dogs, Jack, Maggie, and The Little White Dog.
Stacy is survived by her husband, Andy Taylor; two daughters, Sadie Benefield and Amzie Taylor; father, Jeff (Debbie) Johnson; mother, Sharon Carney; mother-in-law, Patti Baker; special cousins, Chris Johnson, Scotty Johnson, and Phillip Johnson; aunt, Emma Linn; sister, Jennifer Stewart; two uncles, Mike Johnson and George Johnson; and numerous extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, John McRae Benefield; maternal grandparents, Lamar and Mary Lou Carney; paternal grandparents, Oscar and Betty Johnson; uncle, Bud Carney; and aunt, Sherrie P. Johnson.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 9, 2026, 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, Meridian, Mississippi, and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Goodman and Peggy Tyson officiating.
Pallbearers are Chris Johnson, Scotty Johnson, Phillip Johnson, Kevin Ross, Scott Smith, and Andy Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers are Nathan Baker, Jamey Taylor, Stan Stewart, Matt Creighton, Baron Blackwell, and David Holifield.
Burial will take place in the Providence Cemetery.
