Chquese Porter Pleads Guilty to Manslaughter

Family and friends gathered in the downstairs courtroom at The Clarke County Courthouse on Wednesday, November 12, in anticipation as Chquese Porter came in to offer his plea in regard to the murder of twelve-year-old Caleb Bender on June 28, 2024.
Judge Charles Wright swore Porter in and requested that he speak up when spoken to.

Jones College Students Restore Stonewall Carousel Horse

The Town of Stonewall is excited to have their newly restored carousel horse “Jackson” proudly displayed in front of town hall again.

All the restorations were made by some amazing Jones College Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) and art students who chose to be involved in the community to make a difference.
