The 121st edition of the World Series is shaping up to be a classic as the L.A. Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays are even at one game each in the best of seven series. The teams will play Monday-Wednesday of this week in L.A. If needed, the sixth or seventh games will be back in Toronto.

The Georgia Bulldogs found a way to stop the Ole Miss offense in the final quarter to down the Rebels, 43-35. The Bulldogs outscored Ole Miss, 17-0, in the final quarter to give the Rebels their first loss of the season.

Ole Miss had a lackluster performance against Washington State last Saturday. The 24-21 win dropped the unbeaten Rebels one spot to fifth in the College Football Associated Press top 25 rankings. The only bright spot for the Rebels, according to Lane Kiffin, was running back Kewan Lacy, who rushed for 144 yards.

Twenty-eight-year-old rookie Steven Fisk won his first PGA golf tournament this past weekend at the Sanderson Farms Golf Championship. The former Georgia Southern golfer shot a -24 under par to win the tournament. The win also allows him a two-year exemption through 2027 on the tour.
