"But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Matt. 6:15) Unforgiveness is the road to bitterness. It allows hurts to fester and eat away at our heart, mind, and spirit. It imprisons our soul from many things, with the worst being that God 'will not' forgive us our trespasses.
