Bobcats seeded No. 4 in NJCAA DII World Series

Jones College is headed back to the NJCAA Division II World Series for the ninth time.

The Bobcats are seeded No. 4 and drew one of the four opening-round byes of the tournament, as it was announced by the NJCAA on Tuesday morning.

Bobcats post record seventh-place finish in national tournament

The Jones College women’s tennis team posted its highest finish ever in the NJCAA Division I Tournament this week.

The Bobcats earned 23 points and finished tied seventh in the tournament, which was hosted by Tyler Junior College at the Joann Medlock Murphy Tennis Center.

Buffington named ITA Women’s Coach of the Year

No. 4 Bobcats clinch berth in World Series

Fourth-ranked Jones College is headed back to the NJCAA Division II World Series.

The Bobcats defeated No. 14 East Central 14-5 in five innings in the championship game of the Region 23 Tournament semifinals here Sunday evening at Community Bank Park/Gwen Magee Field.
