Bobcats finish fourth in Meridian event

Jones College tied for fourth in the Lou Hart Invitational here Tuesday at Northwood Country Club.

The Bobcats finished at plus-36 (604), which tied them with Northeast Mississippi. Jones shot a 305-299 – 604 in the two-day event, which was hosted by Meridian Community College.

Bobcats fall to Ponies in NJCAA Tournament

The season came to an end for the Jones College men’s basketball team.

The No. 18 seeded Bobcats dropped an 84-73 decision to 15th-seeded Panola College (Texas) in the first round of the NJCAA Division I Tournament here Sunday afternoon at the Hutchinson Sports Arena.

Jones ends the season at 27-7.

No. 11 Bobcats do not lose a game in win over Holmes

Jones College's Trent Hillen has been named the MACCC Pitcher of the Week.

Hillen pitched a seven-inning complete game victory to lead the No. 10 Bobcats to a 7-1 win over East Mississippi.
