Jones College freshman guard Dimp Pernell has been named an NJCAA Second Team All-American.
Pernell, a 6-foot-3 guard from Indianola, averaged 18.8 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. He shot 54 percent from the floor, 46 percent from three-point range, 85 percent from the free throw line and had 55 steals.
