Fourth-ranked Jones opened MACCC play Wednesday afternoon with a road sweep over No. 21 Northwest by 11-7 and 7-4 finals here at Jim Miles Field.
The Bobcats, 16-5, scored the first seven runs of the day and trailed only once, in the sixth inning of game two, in the pair of wins.
