Jones College had its worst hitting performance of the season Monday night in a 3-1 setback to Northwest.

Northwest improved to 16-2, 7-0 MACCC and handed Jones, 10-1, 6-1, its first loss of the year.

Bobcats race past Eagles 5-1 for seventh straight win

No. 9 Jones College pulled away from a 1-0 halftime lead with four second-half goals and ran past Meridian Tuesday night, 5-1.

Jones extended its win streak to seven games in moving to 7-2 overall, 2-0 MACCC. Meridian fell to 4-3-3, 0-2-1.

Bobcat volleyball makes quick work of Patriots

Jones College made quick work of Wallace State-Selma in its 2025 opener here Monday night, winning 3-0 in just over an hour.

The Bobcats won by 25-9, 25-13 and 25-11 finals.

Jones had 43 kills in the match against 14 for the Patriots and a near perfect third set with 14 kills in 19 attempts for a .737 attack percentage.
