Leprosy, in the Bible and by its very nature, was a powerful symbol of sin and its effects in our hearts and lives. Even though the Bible warns us that sin will kill us, we don’t worry much; simply because its deadly nature is not immediately obvious. We sin but we don’t drop dead.
