No. 10 Bobcats win 35th straight match

Tenth-ranked Jones College rolled to its 35th straight victory with an 8-1 win over No. 20 Copiah-Lincoln here Tuesday afternoon at the Bobcat Tennis Complex.

Jones is now 10-0 overall, 7-0 in the MACCC. The Bobcats have not lost a conference match in over six years.

No. 14 Jones defeats No. 18 Wolves, 8-1

No. 14 Jones College returned from spring break with an 8-1 decision over No. 18 Copiah-Lincoln here Tuesday afternoon at the Bobcat Tennis Complex.

The Bobcats improve to 13-4 overall, 8-0 in the MACCC.

Jones opened the match with two doubles’ victories.

Bobcats bow out of national tournament in round of 16

Making its second straight appearance in the NJCAA Tournament, No. 5-seed Jones College fell 74-62 to 12th-seed Angelina College Tuesday night at Hutchinson Sports Arena to close out a fantastic season.

Angelina, 28-6, moves on to face South Plains in the Elite 8 Wednesday night.
