As we embark into another year, we extend an invitation for your church to be involved in our upcoming third annual community event, which is called “Coming Home to Clarke County, MS.” The theme for this year is “Honoring the Accomplishments of Our Youth and Recognizing Our Retired and Former Teachers.” All that we are asking for them to do is fix a beautiful sign to put on their vehicle with their name and school that they worked at, along with have candy to throw.
We are planning to purchase t-shirts. The logo will be “Come Home to Clarke County Where Dreams Are Achieved.” Shirt prices are $17 for youth – adult xlarge.
The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024. The parade starts at 12:00 p.m. with the lineup beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Jones County Junior College, located at 1200 Erwin Rd. in Stonewall. We are inviting churches and businesses to be involved in the parade with floats or decorated vehicles.
