Tony Kennedy, 76, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on June 4, 2025, at his residence in the Elwood Community. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2025, with funeral services to follow at 3:00 p.m. Burial will take place in the Kennedy Family Cemetery. Services will be conducted by Rev. Dennis Kennedy and Rev. Josh Lang.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Donna Mabry Kennedy; daughters, Kim Kennedy Palmer, Angie Kennedy and Dana Mosley (Johnny); son, Derik Williams (Megan); grandchildren, Jacob Palmer (Faith), Jordan Lewis (Erica), Jillianne Palmer, Janna Lewis, Jolie Kennedy, Emmett Williams, Jace Williams and Jaxson Palmer; great-grandchildren, Daniel Palmer, Kaylee Palmer and Alora Lewis; sister, Marlene Lewis (Jerry); brothers, Rev. Dennis Kennedy (Peggy) and Mike Kennedy (Cathy); sister-in-law, Sandy Kennedy; and numerous nieces, nephews and special cousins.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, Leon Kennedy; mother, Merle Martin Kennedy; brother, Dale Kennedy; sister-in-law, Judy Kennedy; and son-in-law, Danny Palmer, Jr.
Pallbearers will be Jordan Lewis, Tracy Kennedy, Jason Kennedy, Kevin Kennedy, Andy Kennedy and Allen Kennedy.
