Miss Battle for the Texas Hospital 2020 Pageant will be held at Archusa Water Creek Park, Quitman, MS, Saturday, February 22, 2020, at 9:00 a.m. Civil War Costume is the attire for the pageant.
You’re cordially invited to enter the first annual Battle for the Texas Hospital Pageant. The winner of each division will receive a crown and sash. Additional prizes may be awarded with enough entries, including cash!
There will be 3 age categories for entry.
Miss Division: Ladies 18-25 yrs.
Ladies in the Miss division, in addition to competing on stage in the required dress, they will also need to submit a one page summary** (Due Feb. 15th) of the Battle of the Texas Hospital or one page detailing a particular event OR person of the Battle.
Teen Miss Division: Young Ladies 13-17 yrs.
In this division young ladies will be competing on stage in the required dress. No writing is required.
Jr. Miss Division: Girls 8-12 yrs.
These girls will be competing on stage in the required dress. No writing is required.
Entry Fee: $65 - You may submit a $20 deposit to hold your spot. Deadline: February 15, 2020 - We will only be accepting 15 entries per division. All balances MUST be paid by the deadline. No refunds unless the event is canceled.
WINNERS of each division will be representing the Battle of the Texas Hospital for one year starting the day of their crowning and are encouraged to return the following year to crown the successors. The “Miss” winner is required to return the following year to crown her successor.
