The QHS Chorus recently attended the District V High School Performance Evaluation at Jones County Junior College, Friday, February 10, 2017. Groups entered were SATB “mixed” Choir and SSA “girls” choir.
Both groups received ratings of “superior” from all three judges.
Ratings in choral music are based on a ten point scale. A 90-100 is considered “superior.” “We were very pleased to score ‘superior’ from all judges, said Director Robbie Daniels.
The QHS Chorus will move on to the MS Music Educators Association / MS High School Activities Association State Performance Evaluation in early March held at Pearl High School.
