Quitman Woman’s Club officers
The Woman’s Club Officers held their first meeting of the upcoming fall season on Thursday afternoon in the board room of the Quitman Public Library. Club officers include (right to left): Becky Watkins, President; Peggy Doggett, First Vice President; June Blair, Second Vice President; Ann Potuk, Third Vice President; Helen Ann Beeman, Recording Secretary; Linda Buchanan, Treasurer; and Christy King, Parliamentarian. Not pictured was Historian Marsha Roberts. The Woman’s Club has held a long standing tradition of initiating and promoting local service projects in the areas of art, education, international outreach, conservation, home life and public relations.
