Voter turnout for last Tuesday’s presidential primary was low in Clarke County. Less than 50% of registered voters turned out at the polls to cost their vote for a presidential nominee.
Also on the ballot was US House of Reprsentatives 3rd Congressional District with Incumbent Gregg Harper (R) winning in Clarke County with 1,399 votes to Jimmy Giles with 240.
4th Congressional District Incumbent Steven Palazzo (R) was unopposed in the republican primary. He received 231 votes
On the Democratic ticket, Dennis C. Quinn received received 482 votes to opponent Nathan Stewart’s 287.
4th Congressional District Mark Gladney was unopposed and received 237 votes.
Voters will return to the polls in the November for the General Election.
