The First Annual Stop The Violence Rally in memory of Bruce O’Bryant Dear (12/25/84-9/11/16) will be held Sunday, November 20 at Sumrall Park in Quitman from 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
There will be guest speakers, fun jumps, food and drinks for sale and more. A 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament will be held with cash prizes. $30 registration fee. Contact Vandy to register 985-513-2565.
All proceeds will go to the Bruce O'Bryant Dear Scholarship. Scholarship applicant must be a Quitman High School Senior Band/Choir Student with a GPA level greater than 2.5 and they must submit a song "16 bae minimum" which Mr. Dear's mother will judge.
We are looking for community sponsors for The Bruce OBryant Dear Scholarship as well as community partners.
