SuperTalk Mississippi is proud to present their Retirement and Senior Expo on Friday, March 17, at the Collins Civic Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Civic Center is located at 3220 Highway 49 in Collins.
The Expo, which is geared at ages 55 and up, will feature vendor booths on a variety of topics including medical services, home health options, retirement homes, insurance, enhancement classes, activities, and more. In addition, there will be health screens and door prizes. The first 200 people to come in the door will receive a SuperTalk Mississippi bag.
“It’s a place in one location where those 55 and older can come and get information on a variety of things,” said Jill Deakle, Marketing Director. “Sometimes it’s more for aging parents than themselves.”
Deakle stated that the Expo is also supposed to be fun. “Not all the vendors are there to talk about serious issues. There are different activities going on that sometimes people just don’t know about that they might enjoy being a part of. Plus, we will have great door prizes.”
SuperTalk Hattiesburg & Laurels’ local morning show, 9AM Edition, will be live from the Expo from 9-10 a.m. followed by The J.T. Show, SuperTalk’s statewide midday show, which will be live from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Admission for the Retirement and Senior Expo is free. For more information, contact Jill Deakle at 601-520-6975.
