Don’t forget the VFW Post 4982 Vietnam Commemoration Program set for March 31 at 6 p.m. in the Clarke County Multi Purpose Building on West Donald Street (Hwy 512), just west of the Clarke County Sheriff’s Department.
This program is set to thank and honor both the veterans of the Vietnam War and the families of these veterans. Spouses of deceased Vietnam Veterans are definitely welcome.
Command Sergeant Major James “Jim” Crapse (Retired) will be the primary speaker for the event.
Food will be served.
The American Legion Post 30 has changed its meeting night to the first Monday of each month at 6 p.m., don’t forget to mark your calendars.
VFW Post 4982 meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Clarke County Multipurpose Building.
