Relay for Life will sponsor a Womanless Beauty Pageant October 25 at the Multi-Purpose Building in Quitman at 6:30pm.
Awards will be presented for the following categories:
Prettiest Hair- Get out your hairspray boys and use your imagination to make those beautiful locks the envy of all.
Prettiest Smile- Turn it on! Bring the biggest smile you have.
Prettiest Eyes- So bat those baby blues… or browns… or whatever you’ve got. And remember, a wink never hurts.
Evening Wear Competition- Now here is your chance to strut your stuff. And shake your money maker. Get creative. You want to capture the attention of those judges. And you certainly want to outdo your competition! The higher the slit, the higher the score!
Talent- Now you know you have one. This is an optional category but we sure do hope you will compete. This will be the audience’s favorite category for sure. A few talent suggestions for you… singing, baton twirling, performing a monologue or dancing. We are all gifted in different ways. Let’s celebrate your outrageous gift!
The People’s Choice Award- Our crowning event! This award will be given to the contestant who raises the most money with People’s Choice Votes. This is by far the most coveted award and it is so easy to win. People’s Choice votes are $1 each. We ask that each contestant collect $100 in People’s Choice Votes prior to the pageant. On the night of the pageant we will be collecting additional votes for each contestant. So tell your friends and family to bring their dollars and cast their votes for you!
Everyone needs a “pageant coach” or “pageant coaching team”. Enlist the help of someone to assist you in choosing your “stage name” and writing your introduction. Someone to help you find the perfect outfit and select your talent. Someone to help you fix your hair and makeup. Not to mention someone to help you gather those People’s Choice Votes prior to the pageant and to cheer for you at the competition like only a pageant coach would.
Good Luck!!!
Fine Print- Unladylike conduct will be permitted. The use of wigs and other beauty enhancers is strictly encouraged. Screaming and pulling of hair is highly encouraged. Please instruct your friends and family members that this is a beauty pageant and we expect them to act accordingly. Screaming loudly, cowbells, signs and other forms of “Pageant Momma” type conduct is encouraged.
