Mitchell Distributing, Kia of Meridian, and Big Guns Professional Cleaning Service are teaming up with the city of Meridian to host the Bud Light Three on Three Shootout tournament on Saturday, May 7th. The tournament will be held at Kia of Meridian parking lot. Teams interested in playing may register at Mitchell Distributing or Kia of Meridian and pay a $60 early registration fee. Teams can also register the morning of the tournament for $80 per team. All proceeds from the event will go to the Boys and Girls Club of East Mississippi.
“We are incredibly excited to bring this event back to Meridian,” said Anna Grace Ward, communications manager for Mitchell Companies. “We did a similar event years ago and we have people asking all the time for us to bring the tournament back. We think it will be a fun day for people to come out and support a good cause. We’re really looking forward to partnering with Kia of Meridian and Big Guns to help make this a very successful event.”
Beverages will be sold at the basketball tournament including beer from Mitchell Distributing along with water and soft drinks. Mugshots will also be onsite for the tournament selling hamburger plates.
There will be an award ceremony at the end of the tournament with great prizes for the winners. Teams who register in advance will also receive a free t-shirt for participating and there will also be giveaways for spectators who come out and watch the tournament.
